Sensitivity. Empathy and Compassion.
Each day, I honor my late mother’s legacy by embodying the words she ingrained in me around how to show up for others.
I approach client work with curiosity, and without judgement. I’m committed to empowering you to take what you learn during our sessions and be more confident, grounded, and open-hearted. I’ll provide you with unconditional support and useful tools that will help you learn boundaries, communication skills and self-care. We’ll work together to build self-esteem, healthy attachment styles and relationship skills. We’ll unpack trauma, embrace grief and loss, and learn how to manage depression, anxiety and loneliness.
I tailor my approach based on your needs – some clients prefer a more maternal approach, whereas others want accountability, a plan, and a path forward. There is no “one size fits all” in therapy and I assure you I will not nod, say “that must be hard” and look at my watch and declare our time is up. I will support you through your journey, be your advocate, cheerleader, and honor your path forward to find joy and live the life you’ve always wanted.
I believe in the Japanese practice of kintsugi, the art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold. This serves as a metaphor that when things fall apart, they can emerge more beautiful through the reparative process of growth and development. We all have the capacity for deep healing, forgiveness, and growth.
I was born and raised in Montreal, Canada and have called California home since 2012. In my free time, you’ll find me hiking in nature with my 18-year-old pup in my backpack, traveling to remote countries or eating at a new restaurant.
